There were 13 of us on the coon hunt last weekend.  The weather was beautiful, no moon, no wind and a sky full of stars.  I just never get tried of looking at the stars.  Grandpa Dennis did a great job of explaining some of the star formations to Lucas.<\/p>\n

 The dogs treed a couple of times, but we didn’t see any coon.  Both of these pictures show everyone shining their flashlights up trying to locate the coon.<\/p>\n

 This is Glen’s dog Slick.  Glen also brought his other dog Queen (also a Walker)  along, she’s getting pretty old.  Matt and Ross brought their Redbone dog, Ruby.  It’s great when you can hear the dogs in the distance baying because they found a trail or scent, lots of family out walking, talking and laughing together and with all the stars shining above . . .  it doesn’t get much better.<\/p>\n
