This would be her first chance for her to see Grandpa and Grandma\u2019s house and all the animals.<br \/>\nWhen Aaron brought her in the house, she was looking around at everything and she had a smile for Grandma.\u00a0 Our crib is upstairs and I didn\u2019t know if a Pac N Play was still a good idea for her since she is older now so we put a blanket on the living room floor for her. Of course, Ruth had to come in and meet Emma too but I think she was more interested in having Aaron home.\u00a0 She plopped herself in his lap and watched Emma from a distance.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/steele.farm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Emma-Aaron-and-Ruth.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-466\" src=\"http:\/\/steele.farm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Emma-Aaron-and-Ruth-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"?\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/steele.farm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Emma-Aaron-and-Ruth-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/steele.farm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Emma-Aaron-and-Ruth-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/steele.farm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Emma-Aaron-and-Ruth-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/steele.farm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Emma-Aaron-and-Ruth-240x240.jpg 240w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Great Grandma Barbara came to visit and she had a chance to hold Emma.\u00a0 We all had lunch together and Emma joined us in the old high chair. Aaron tried giving her a little taste of homemade ice cream but it took her a little bit by surprise.\u00a0 I thought maybe it had more to do with it being so cold but the really sweet taste was new to her too.<\/p>\n<p>After lunch Emma took a little nap on my lap and before long it was getting close to the time when they would have to leave so that they could start her dialysis at home.\u00a0 We talked about taking her around outdoors to see everything but she didn\u2019t have a sweater or jacket and it was a little cool out so I went rummaging through some things in the hope chest.\u00a0 I found a bonnet that Jill wore for her baptism but it was a little small for Emma.\u00a0 We did laugh a little because it made her look like a little Amish girl.\u00a0 She gave us a look like what are you doing and take this thing off my head.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/steele.farm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Emma-the-amish-girl.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-467\" src=\"http:\/\/steele.farm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Emma-the-amish-girl-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"?\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/steele.farm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Emma-the-amish-girl-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/steele.farm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Emma-the-amish-girl-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/steele.farm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Emma-the-amish-girl-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/steele.farm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Emma-the-amish-girl-240x240.jpg 240w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I also found a little blue corduroy jacket that I had for Aaron when he was little.\u00a0 Anna Margaret had bought it at a garage sale for him and then Ken found a nice sweater that Aaron use to wear to church.\u00a0 We put the sweater on her and rolled the sleeves up and up and up.\u00a0 I had one of the kids\u2019 stocking caps that I rolled up and put on her head too. This got everyone to laughing and Emma wore it with her own style.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/steele.farm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Emma-with-stocking-cap.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-465\" src=\"http:\/\/steele.farm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Emma-with-stocking-cap-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"?\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/steele.farm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Emma-with-stocking-cap-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/steele.farm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Emma-with-stocking-cap-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/steele.farm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Emma-with-stocking-cap-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/steele.farm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Emma-with-stocking-cap-240x240.jpg 240w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We took her to the barn and she got to see the cats and Murphy the only kitten we have left.\u00a0 Aaron also took her to the Red Barn to check it out. I\u2019ve always said that the Red Barn will be a great place to just turn her loose when she gets older so that she can run with a stick horse or ride a big wheel inside if the weather isn\u2019t cooperating.<br \/>\nIt was wonderful to have them visit and their time with us went by way too fast.\u00a0 But we look forward to more Emma visits as long as Mom and Dad are willing to venture out with her.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yeah.\u00a0 Emma was coming to visit us at the farm.\u00a0 We were so excited!!
