We were honored to be asked to be one of the host couples for Gabi and Travis’ wedding.\u00a0 We made the trip to Vermillion on Friday so that we could watch the rehearsal and attend the rehearsal dinner.\u00a0 I had brought my camera along hoping to catch some candid shots of the rehearsal.\u00a0 Evie and Collin joined us in one of the pews while we were watching and we were talking about the little kitties that we had.\u00a0 Evie asked if we had some pictures so I pulled out my camera and showed some to her.\u00a0 With everyone having phones that take pictures, my camera was a bit of novelty to them so Evie asked if she could try it out.\u00a0 So I gave her a quick lesson on the camera and she took most the these pictures.\u00a0 Of course, Collin wanted his turn too.<\/p>\n

The rehearsal dinner was hosted by Travis’ Dad and step-Mom.\u00a0 The drive to their house takes you down a road that would be considered a “minimum maintenance” road in Lancaster County, but at the end of it is their beautiful house. They live right along the Missouri river. On this part of the river it’s not channelized so it spreads out quite far.\u00a0 The side of their house that faces the river is all glass windows and doors in the living room with a fireplace in the middle.\u00a0 They have a beautiful view!!<\/p>\n

We didn’t take pictures of the wedding, Gabi had two photographers so we left that up to them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
