We had some great times taking the canoe out this year. In fact, we just left it loaded on the old truck so we could go whenever we wanted to.  The first couple of times we went to Hedgefield Lake. We worked our way around the jettys and caught lots of little fish.  Fishing should be very good there in a few years.<\/p>\n

Then we went to Stagecoach Lake and “trolled” around the islands hoping to catch some crappie.  No luck,but just being out on the lake made it a perfect day. Ken did catch a nice size bass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

On a different note, Ken and Mark competed in the Farmland Foods catfish tournament. A couple of years ago they got 2nd.  This year the got 4th, which was okay.  They got their entry fee back and had a good time catfishing all night long.<\/p>\n
