He\u2019s an older guy that lives in the Flint Hills in Kansas and he and his wife do little trips just like Ken and I. One of their trips took them to the Pillsbury Crossing near Manhattan, KS. After reading about their trip I suggested that we make that drive.<\/p>\n<p>We made the trip on Wednesday, Nov. 18<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 The weather was nice so the drive was very enjoyable even though all the tree had already lost their leaves.\u00a0 We picked up lunch at Freddies in Manhattan and head out to the crossing. It was a really nice spot where a creek ran across the road.\u00a0 The creek bed was solid rock and there was a small water fall. Then we crossed the stream and walked along the water&#8217;s edge till we ran out obvious path.
