The Holidays

Thanksgiving

I haven’t been very good about taking pictures for the holidays, but here are the ones that I have.  We hosted Thanksgiving and I think it turned out pretty good thanks to all the help we had. With a last minute guest coming (and we always have plenty) we decided to move a table downstairs so we could spread the others out so we weren’t so cramped.

The weekend after Thanksgiving we had the Doeden Dancer Christmas.  You gotta love a party where you get to dance more than eat . . . if you want to.

Mark gets to pick another gift because I stole his. Pictured-Chris, Roberta, Bill, Diane and Cindy.

Crissy and her husband.

This is Diane, Cindy, Brandy, not sure what the next gal’s name is.  I think she said she was from Ecador.

Bill is always a good sport, modeling the gift he got.

These vases come back every year as a part of the white elephant gift exchange.  They are a big hit and everyone would like to know where they came from and who first brought them.

Borgman Christmas

We had the Borgman Christmas at the community center in Firth.  It has been all redone and it’s very nice inside.  Kalie was so excited when we got there because the bookmobile was parked right by the building.  She had to take a quick tour because she had never seen a bookmobile before.

A competitive game of Tile Rummy. Ken and I were playing Left-Right-Center with Caleb and Brandon.

Steele Christmas

Ollie is a good eater and he was Grandpa’s boy.
