Both Priss and Danger had a litter of kittens. Priss had her’s in the hay shed and Danger had her’s in the barn. Ruth and Mattie (working as a team I’m sure) have cut down the number kittens that have actually survived so far.
Here are the pictures I was able to get. These first 2 pictures are of Danger’s kittens. In all fairness some of them probably got lost in the hay. She had them in a place where if they decided to crawl out they may have fallen clear down to the bottom of the hay pile. And I guess they were starting to crawl out while we were in Mishawaka. Emily (the gal that does our chores) and her husband were trying to keep them in their “nest”.
This is Priss and Danger eating with the last 2 kittens of Priss’. The yellow spotted one is very wild. We haven’t been able to tame her.
This is Danger’s last kitten. |
This is Priss’ ktten that we can catch. She has such a gentle disposition. Even when she’s been tormented by the dogs, she doesn’t try to scratch or bite us. |
