The Nebraska Game and Parks has a budget problem and has decided to close a number of state parks and recreation areas from September through May.  They say this will allow them to take the personnel from those areas and use them to work on the ones left open.  Stagecoach is one that was closed September 16th. You can still walk in to the lake, but in some cases, that’s a heck of a long walk.  Anyway, we decided to do a trail ride at Stagecoach while we could still drive the horse trailer in.  Here are the pictures from our early Saturday morning ride. And, of course, check out the video of the “horse that got left behind”.  She’s in a panic.

 There must have been 25 or 30 TV’s (turkey vultures) flying around.

 I like the shot of our shadows.  It makes Ken look tall in the saddle.:)
