We had a wonderful time in Minnesota. This year the weather was much cooler, but that was okay. We got to watch the bald eagles, the osprey and the loons. One morning we were out on the lake early and we watched a guy swim clear across the lake and then later swim back. As always, we spent Monday evening in Elizabeth at their weekly auction. I didn’t get anything this year, but we still had a good time. When we’re done we go over to the Silver Dollar Saloon for supper. They have 2 for 1 burgers.

The best fish of the day.
This is Chris’ Dad Otto. He took us out to show us where we could fish for walleye. He does know the lake like the back of his hand.
On our way home, we always stop at the gas station in the Indian reservation because gas is a little cheaper there. They had this picture of a BIG bass and Ken asked me to take his picture with it.
