On the 24th, a lady lost control of her car in the parking lot of the company where I work. . . and our parking lot isn’t very big. She first sideswiped a retaining wall, drove over a sidewalk and hit this Durango. Notice that she left her license plate in the space between the front and back doors. Reece, one of the guys I work with, just happen to have his camera at work so he took over 100 pictures. Here are a just a few that I will share with you.
Then she made a 90 degree right turn and hit my car, pushing it out of its parking stall and almost into my boss’s van.
Then she missed hitting the van and hit Brad’s black Tahoe and the silver GMC truck. She it the truck so hard the front wheel popped up onto the sidewalk.
She also hit the next black car, crushed the mailboxes and hit the building next to our building. You can see that all of her airbags deployed so I don’t think she was hurt too badly. It took two tow trucks to get her car out of there. One had to lift up the front end while the other pulled the car back. She hit the wall hard enough to crack the brick and make it bow in.
The police told us to go stand by our vehicles and they would come around take our information. Keri and Christian (who I work with) decided to come out and see what was going on. Their cars were parked across the parking lot from those that got hit.
Here’s my boss, Jeff, checking to see how close my car came to his van. He had two vehicles in the lot that day parked right next to each other. He just happen to leave to go get tacos for lunch about 2 minutes before all this happened. He could have had both of them damaged, but he was lucky . . . so lucky he said he was going to go buy a lottery ticket.
