Nebraska Prairie Rose B & B

It was getting kind of slow in the afternoon of the Estate Sale so Todd took Nancy and me over to Daykin to tour the Nebraska Prairie Rose Bed and Breakfast. This is the house that Todd grew up in. They moved this house and another one into Daykin to fix up and make into Bed and Breakfasts.

These are called Rose stones and they are natural (not man made). They are really neat.

This picture is looking from the dining room into the living room and the main entrance. Everything was decorated beautifully and they tried to use the rose theme throughout the house.

This picture shows the stairway coming upstairs and the vaniety and sink they put in.

The upstairs bathroom has this claw foot tub in it. There is also a skylight about the tub.

This bedroom has a daybed.

This bedroom is going to be the cattlemen’s room. She has some pictures of hereford bulls ready to be hung. The covered wagon on the dresser has a rose on the canvas and it lights up.

They turned the basement into a community room that they will rent out. This room is full of antiques also. There is another smaller room that they hope to turn into a museum.
