Thanks to Jill and Carie we have pictures of the Steele Family Picnic. Most of the kids are getting experienced enough on the horses to ride by themselves. This is Ryli riding Joe and getting him to go through the gate after opening it.

This is Bre working with Frosty to get the gate open.

Cal rides very well -in fact we should have just let him ride outside the corral.

Troy rode Joe for a little bit. Joe usually doesn’t move too fast, but Troy was able to get him to gallop around.

This is the troublemaker (the horse, not me!) She wanted treats and kicked the gate when Jill wouldn’t give her one. So we put a saddle on her and Carie rode her around to work off some of her energy.

While we were doing horses, Aaron and Dennis got the trap shooting going.

The next three pictures are of Troy and Dominic. Dominic was smashing blue rock with a hammer. So Troy sat down to help Dominic out by throwing them in the air for him to hit. Now those two are trouble:)

Chris (standing in the pink shirt) and her husband Mark came out too. We met them at Pla Mor and they are just really nice people. Mark and Chris both hunt, they like to fish and they enjoy dancing, so we have alot in common. Annie, Aaron’s friend in the front of this picture did some shooting too. Guess she was a pretty good shot – we could call her “Annie Oakley”!
