Bobby Layne at Stransky Park

Since Ken was fishing at Calamus, I took  Mom to Stransky Park in Lincoln to listen to Bobby Layne.  (We took Carie and Steve to Stransky Park last year to listen to the Sandy Creek Pickers.)  Last year there was a couple who brought their Irish Wolfhounds. This year they did’t show up, only a few small dogs and a couple of old, overweight beagles were there. It was a beautiful night and the music was great.  St. James Methodist church was selling pies and having a rock-a-thon to raise money for their church. Along with that you can still get popcorn, slushies and cotton candy.  They really had a good turn-out,.

This is Bobby Layne playing the sax.  Trudy is their singer.

My cousin, Joan Allen, plays piano for Bobby Layne.  If you look close on the left side you can see her behind the older guy.

Here’s the old-overweight beagles.
