Up to Now

I’ve tried on a number of occasions to put together another blog posting, but I guess my heart wasn’t in it.  So much has happened since the last post, all great, and I guess I’m just taking time to enjoy the outcome of the surgeries and both girls’ recovery.  Many prays were answered.

But, here we are into February, over two months since Emma had her transplant and I think it’s time to get going again. Here is a picture I took a few days after surgery.

I’ll just post some of the holiday pictures that I have and we’ll move on from there.

Last weekend  (Feb 11th) we had the Borgman Christmas in the Party Barn.  Luckily the weather was great for this time of year. Unlike the icy weather that we had back in December when we were actually scheduled to have our Christmas get together.   We finally got to meet Noah Day, the youngest member of this family.  He is the happiest kid, has a smile for everyone and I don’t think we heard him whimper or cry at all.

We did play a few rounds of Bingo but Jeremy and crew had to leave early because one of the boys wasn’t feeling well.

It was great to see everyone.

More recently, Ken and Mark (Roesler) are getting ready for ‘bee’ season.  They have been building hives and Ken has been reading all he can on the internet.  He just sent a check off today for 2 packages of hives for himself, 2 packages for Mark and 1 package for Henry (Mark’s boss who already raises bees). Their delivery date will probably be the end of April and I think Ken and Mark are anxious to get started.
