The Steele Family Picnic turned out pretty good. We had the usual blue rock shoot and lots of horse back riding. The swing on the patio was used alot, and some people played bean bag toss and the redneck golf. Chad brought his two housemates and Barbie along. Later Jim and Chad took on Phil and Chad’s other housemate in a game of basketball. I was thankful we didn’t have to take someone to the hospital. (By someone, I mean the old guy in the group!!)

Diane, Grandma and Bubba enjoyed the barn porch. They could watch the shooting and see the horseback riders come by.

AJ thought he would give horseback riding a try.

Over the past couple of years, Cal has done a good job riding so this year Ken asked him if he would like to ride outside the corral. They rode around the place, keep out of the line of fire!!

Ryli did the most riding. She wanted to ride outside the corral too, so she and Ken rode double on Frosty and took off around the pasture. She took a break and then was ready to ride again.

Micaela took a turn on Joe.

Bubba wanted to ride when she found out she could ride alone.

Alisha tried riding Joe too. She did a good job.

Joe and Frosty did a good job and I think everyone had a good time.
